What Is an Escape Room for Children and Teens?

Our escape rooms are real-life immersive games where participants are locked in a themed room and must work together to find clues and solve puzzles in order to escape within a 60-minute time limit. Each of our escape rooms is equipped with cameras, microphones, and speakers, allowing our dedicated Game Masters to guide and provide hints as needed.

For bookings involving children, kids, or teens, we can tailor the puzzles in our "Prison Break" and "Bunker" rooms to be more age-appropriate. If you'd like to incorporate children's puzzles, even when playing with adults, please contact us, and we'll make the necessary adjustments.

New Feature: Kid-Friendly Escape Rooms

At Fox in a Box we're excited to introduce a new feature! Children can now enjoy our game "Tesla's Mystery." During playtime, our Game Masters will assist players and provide hints as needed. Contact us to enable this option for your group.

Birthday Parties and Celebrations

If you're celebrating a birthday or special event, you can bring surprise elements like birthday cards, party bags, or presents to be hidden within the game for your group to discover during their escape room adventure. Please coordinate this with us before your arrival to ensure our Game Masters can create a memorable experience.

Age Recommendations

We recommend our escape rooms for ages 10 and above, but players of all ages are welcome. Birthday boy/girl plays for free. For participants aged 14 and under, a guardian must be present during check-in and at the game's conclusion, although the guardian doesn't need to play.
